RON95, RON97 and Diesel Price for January 2015

Petrol price for RON95 and RON97 is going down by 35 sen per litre starting 1st of January 2015, while diesel is down by 30 sen, said Datuk Seri Hasan Malek, the Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Minister in his 31st December 2014 statement.

That means, the price for petrol (RON95, RON97 and diesel) for January 2015, is as follows:

• RON95 : RM1.91 per litre
• RON97 : RM2.11 per litre
• diesel : RM1.93 per litre

Earlier on 30th December, Datuk Ahmad Maslan, the Deputy Finance Minister had said on his twitter that the prices are expected to go down at least 30 sen.

As a comparison, the price for petrol (RON95, RON97 and diesel) for the month of December 2014, was as follows:

• RON95 : RM2.26 per litre
• RON97 : RM2.46 per litre
• diesel : RM2.23 per litre
